| Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Mar. 18 to Mar. 24, 2022 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Frances Ann Lord, age 81, passed peacefully on the morning of Thursday, March 10, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born June 13, 1940 to Michael W. Retorick and Evelyn V. (Ansalvish) Retorick in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She was married to Carl Doebler from 1961 until his passing in 1964 and had one daughter, Donna. She later married Richard L. Lord, Jr in 1966 and was married 38 years until his passing in 2004. They had one daughter, Michelle. The family moved from Union, New Jersey to Bullhead City, Arizona in 1972 to raise their family. Frances eventually moved to Sun City, Arizona to be closer to her daughters and youngest grandson. Frances was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially with her grandsons. She also enjoyed many hobbies including reading, dancing, knitting, crafts, shopping and going to the movies. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Michael W. Retorick, Evelyn V. (Ansalivish) Retorick; husband, Carl Doebler; husband, Richard L. Lord Jr.; brother, Steve Retorick; and grandson, Ryan Altis. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Altis and husband Ron Colson of Sun City, Arizona, and Michelle Owen and husband Mike of Cave Creek, Arizona; brother, Bill Retorick of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; and two grandsons, Jason Lord and wife Kameron of Appleton, Wisconsin and Joshua Owen of Cave Creek, Arizona. |
