Paul Lawrence Haycraft, age 83, passed away peacefully as he slept at
Kingman Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born on
March 12, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky, one of nine children of his
mother, Elma and father, Paul Vincent Haycraft. He leaves the world
where he had blessed so many with his love, kindness and religious
spirit to be by the side of his glorious maker.

Following his love for water, Paul served honorably and proudly in the
US Navy for eight years. Paul married the love of his life in 1961,
Norma Jean Murphy, and settled their roots in California and were
blessed to cherish in life of three loving daughters. The family tree
flourishes even brighter with the grace of seven wonderful grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.

The presence of Paul alone was enough to earn your love, his respect and
calm loving demeanor made him a great man. His joy of being with family,
watching old western movies and his passion for fishing the Colorado
River were a few of his greatest hobbies.

Paul spent several years as a preacher and deacon in the First Baptist
Church. In his final years of life, Paul and Norma followed their love
for the warmth and scenic views of Arizona and lived the remainder of
his life in Golden Valley.

The family has set up a memorial service at Veteran's Memorial Park at
1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, open to those who were privileged
to have known and loved him, and those wanting to pay their respects to
Paul's life of service. An Honor Guard tribute followed by a few words
from those blessed to have known Paul and a private celebration of life
will take place after the ceremony.

"Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with the comfort of your love that
they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can
destroy the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful,
their days enriched with friendship, and their lives encircled by your
love."
