Jane Kelley Deming, 83, active horsewoman, beloved wife and mother died peacefully on March 1, 2022, with her husband and children by her side. Jane was born outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 26, 1938. She graduated from Springside School in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania, then went on to Bennett Junior College in New York. From her earliest years she had a love for horses and was an excellent rider. She logged many miles on horseback starting with honors at the Devon horse show and progressing to the trails of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona and the Wind River Range of Wyoming. Jane also had a passion for her family, horticulture and western art among other activities. She was active with the Philadelphia Flower Show, the Highlands Historical Society, and was inducted into the 1790 Club in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

It was her 51 years of marriage to her husband George "Jeff" Deming that really gave her joy. They traveled the world and raised two boys. Jane devoted herself to her family and was active in volunteering for their education. She found her true home in the West. She and Jeff were fortunate enough to split their time between Wickenburg and Jackson, Wyoming. Her love of western art is evidenced by her vast home art collection and her generosity to young artists. She had a love and talent for decorating and was known far and wide for her signature silver hair and impeccable style.

She is survived by her husband Jeff; her brother Neal Kelley of Ormond Beach, Florida; and her children Christopher of Jackson and Jeffrey of Reno, Nevada; grandchildren Riley (13) and CJ (8) of Jackson, and Teagan (19) and Ramsey (16) of Reno.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Sage Living of St. Johns health.

The care, love and professional attention they showed her in her final months were inspiring.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to The St. John's Health Foundation/Sage Living at www.stjohnsfoundation.health. A celebration of life will be held in April at Rancho de los Caballeros in Wickenburg and a ceremony at the Church of the Transfiguration in Jackson in June.
