Mary Lou Place passed away March 17, 2022, peacefully at the age of 81.
She was born in Windsor, Vermont on Sept. 10, 1940 to Frank and Gladys
Harris and was the ninth child born of 12 siblings.

Mary eventually moved to Lake Havasu City in 1976 with her husband
Eugene and four children. She worked at the London Bridge Resort for
many years and retired from her position as a banquet manager in 2005.
Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her
life to caring for those around her. Her passions were her family,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, reading, and baking while listening
to Elvis Presley. She also loved to play cards.

Mary has left behind four children; Paul Place, Stephanie Chapin ,
Jeffrey Place, and Jennifer Beaver along with her grandchildren
Brittani, Jeffrey, and Alyson Chapin, Cortney Derton, Tyler and Joshua
Place, Hailey and Ryan Beaver, Taylor and Kaylee Place and an abundance
of great-grandchildren. Mary will be greatly missed, for she was
cherished by all who knew her.

She was our rock while here on Earth and now she is our guardian angel.
We will hold a celebration of life at a future date for those who knew
her. Thanks to those at the Polidori House for taking such good care of
her and everyone at Hospice for caring for her, especially Heather.
We will think of you every day with love and remember the happy memories
that we were blessed to have shared with you.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
