The things she enjoyed most were family gatherings, sewing, gardening and tending to her birds. Mom 's love for the Lord Jesus Christ was known to all. Mama, passed from this life to her eternal life in Heaven while being held in the loving arms of her daughter. May she always remain in our hearts, 'till we meet again... Maria leaves behind her husband of 60-years, Albert "Sonny" Ruiz; sons, Bobby (Dacia), Mario (Brenda), Tono (Lisa) Ruiz; daughter, Barbara (Mike) Kirkpatrick; sixteen grand children, twenty-two great grand children; her siblings, her sister and six brothers. A special thank you to family and friends for helping care for our mama these last days of her life. She passed knowing how loved and adored she was and always will be.
