Mary Sue (Rohrbaugh) Sturtevant

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Mary Sue
Sturtevant, who entered God's Kingdom on March 6th, 2022, at age 86.
Mary Sue (known to many as "Sue") was born to Wilbur and Edna Rohrbaugh
in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sue, and her beloved sister Ellen, lived for most
of their childhood in Hastings, Nebraska. Sue later attended the
University of Nebraska and earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary
Education. After graduating, Sue's first teaching position was in
Anchorage, Alaska. After two years, she moved to the Bay Area for a
teaching position in San Francisco.

Sue met her husband, Reverend Allan Sturtevant, at Lakeside Presbyterian
Church in San Francisco. They married and had three children: Wendy,
Micah, and Nancyw. Sue and her family lived in California, Iowa and
Illinois before Sue and Allan retired to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Sue loved teaching
elementary school, leading Bible studies, celebrating Holidays, visiting
grandchildren, and spending time with friends. Throughout her life, Sue
held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who
surrounded her. Sue was regarded as a loving spouse, exceptional mother,
generous neighbor, consummate professional, courageous woman, and caring
friend.

Sue joins her husband Allan in God's Kingdom, as well as her mother
Edna, her father Wilbur, her uncle Roland Coffman, her aunt Berta
Coffman, and her nephew Jeff Kendig. Sue is survived by her children
Micah Sturtevant, Nancy Steffe and Wendy Gawlik, as well as her four
grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ellen Kendig, brother-
in-law John Kendig, niece Kathy Kendig, niece-in-law Tamera Kendig,
cousin Carolyn Hanson, cousin Phil Coffman and great-niece Brittany
Mitchell.

Sue will be remembered in a Memorial Service scheduled Saturday, May
14th at 10am at Christ Chapel Lake Havasu City. (Formerly known as
Community Presbyterian Church, Lake Havasu City).

Numbers 6:24-26 "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face
to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his
countenance upon you and give you peace."
