| Published by Mohave Daily News Online from May 1 to May 3, 2022 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Jimmy Lee Davis, age 82, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his home in Bullhead City, Ariz. He was born March 15, 1940 in Springfield, Ill. Jim met his wife Karyn in Garden Grove, Calif. in 1976 and they were married for 45 years. They moved to Bullhead City in 1981. Jim was a barber in Bullhead City for 27 years, having retired from his Gentleman's Quarters Barber Shop in 2008. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Patrick John Davis; his parents, Alfred and Opal (Newcomb) Davis; sisters, Carol Jean and Donna; and his brother, Jack. Jim is survived by his wife, Karyn Davis; his two sons, Gary (Derlie) Davis and Eric (Patty) Davis both of Springfield, Ill.; sister, Rebecca; seven grandchildren, Shayla Morrison, Kylan Davis, Andy Davis, Rose Davis, Breanna Gurule, Gabby McKenna and Matthew Davis. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Elk's Lodge, 1745 Emerald Rd, Bullhead City, AZ. Join us afterward for a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jim's name to the Mayo Clinic or the charity of your choice. |
