| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, January 26, 2022, p. A-4 William Lynn Campbell, age 81, of Surprise, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022. He was born on Jan. 17, 1940, to the late Otis Warren and Delia (Nasser) Campbell in Loma Linda, California. He attended Pomona High School graduating class of 1958; then furthered his education at San Jose University obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business. On May 8, 1963, he married Nancy Edwards in Pomona, California. Bill worked in Retail Management for Sears, Roebuck and Company for 35 years. He was a member of Sunrise Rotary in Phoenix. Upon retirement he became involved in community affairs in Carmel, California and Wickenburg. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and travel. Bill is survived by his loving spouse of 59 years, Nancy; three daughters, Sarah Godfrey, Jennifer Devitt and Emily Campbell; a sister, Susan Campbell; five grandchildren, Olivia Woodward, Logan Colwell, Nicolas Devitt, Daniel Godfrey and Grace Colwell; one great grandchild Owen Woodward; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Otis, mother Delia, brother Jim and brother Don. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's honor may be made to the Arizona Community Foundation, 2201 E. Camelback Road, #405B, Phoenix, AZ, 85016 in care of Campbell-Edwards Foundation.
