Ramon (Otero) Miranda

Ramon Miranda-Otero, 86, who was residing in Sacramento California, passed away peacefully in
his sleep on April 27,2022 at Banner Desert Medical Hospital.

Ramon was born on December 28,1935 to Amador Miranda and Carmen Otero in Manati, Puerto
Rico. Ramon had seven siblings; Elisa Miranda, Maria L. Miranda, Ana H Miranda, Antonio Miranda,
Angel Luis Miranda, Wilfredo Miranda, and Carmen L Miranda.

In his adolescence, Ramon made his way to New York where he met his first love Julia Colon and
had four beautiful children; Wanda Miranda, Ramon Miranda Jr., Elizabeth (Lisi) Miranda, and
Wilfredo (Macho) Miranda.

A short time after, Ramon and Julia’s relationship came to an end and some time later Ramon
married Carmen J. Lopez, and they had two daughters; Isabel Miranda and Carmen Miranda.

Ramon worked as a painter, and loved baseball (his favorite team were the San Francisco Giants).
He also loved boxing, cooking, dancing, pulling pranks and telling jokes but most of all playing and
singing with his guitar.

Ramon was predeceased by Amador Miranda, Carmen Miranda (mother) Carmen L. Miranda
(sister) and is survived by his siblings Elisa Miranda, Maria L. Miranda, Ana H Miranda, Antonio
Miranda, Angel Luis Miranda, Wilfredo Miranda; and his six children, Wanda, Ramon Jr, Wilfredo,
Elizabeth, Isa, and Carmen Miranda along fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Iglesia Fuente de Agua Viva in San Francisco on May 13,2022 at 6:30pm. In
lieu of flowers, if anyone would like to make a donation, donations can be made via zelle to
carmenmcruz2000@gmail.com or cash app $carmenmcruz2 which will be allocated for any
incurred expenses.

We will hold his memory and carry his laughter and smile with us, Ramon will be deeply missed.
