Dayton "Leroy" Sanborn was born in Detroit, to Dayton and Marguerite
Sanborn on June 23, 1938. He moved with family to southern California in
the 1950s.

He married to Louise burns in 1957, soon after his son Scott was born in
1958 later followed by Lisa Sanborn in 1963. They lived in La Verne
California and divorced in 1970. In 1972, he married Patricia Loque,
along with three kids; Vicki, Toni and terry. Pat and Leroy had a
daughter, Shauna.

Leroy always loved the challenge of business. He was the top salesman
for Bank of America, data processing in 1972. They started Claremont
Escrow in 1974 with his sister Carol, and children Toni and Vicki, then
started Sundance Carwash in Pomona.

In 1979, they moved to Parker and then to Lake Havasu City in 1981 and
started Carpet Emporium. Dad loved spending time with the family,
especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas. He loved a good day on the
lake with family and friends.

Leroy loved to talk about living in God's Country; fresh air, beautiful
lake and mountains and of course beautiful girls.

Always our hero, love you dad – till we meet again.
