Randall Wayne Loman, age 70, passed away unexpectedly in his home in
Payson, Ariz., due to complications of pancreatic surgery, on Monday,
September 28, 2020 (his Dad's Birthday). He was born October 5, 1949 in
Saginaw, Mich.

Randy graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1967. He enlisted in the
US Navy and served as a cook on the USS Sanctuary as Commissaryman 2nd
Class, during Vietnam. Randy met the love of his life, Sallie in Boulder
City, Nev. They were married in Boulder City in 1971 and eventually
moved to Arizona, where they spent 49 years supporting each other as
devoted soulmates.

Randy was a Maintenance Supervisor for Southern California Edison Co. at
Mohave Generating Station in Laughlin, Nev. and at Nevada Power in Las
Vegas, Nev. for 32 years. He retired to Payson, Ariz. where he found
pleasure in the beauty of nature and many friendships. His passions were
hunting, fly-fishing, working on his 1971 Chevelle, and helping others
when and wherever needed, especially through Payson Flycasters, High
Country Garden Club, and the local Humane Society of Arizona.

In all aspects of his life, he was a hard worker committed in getting
the job done right. Randy was a member of the Colorado River High School
Board, a Mohave Valley Little League Coach, a charter member of the
River Valley High School Booster Club, a board member of Mohave
Elementary PTA, and served on the Board of Parish Services of St. John
Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed sharing his love of cooking,
hunting, fishing, feeding the ducks, and baking peach and rhubarb pies
with his grandchildren.

His laugh and smile were infectious, always creating a memory. He loved
telling his grandkids stories to peak their curiosity and memories. All
of his grandkids will have memories of cutting grandpa's hair, which was
a challenge for even the best barber.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter; parents, Robert Wayne
and Virginia Koeplinger Loman.

He is survived by his wife, Sallie Loman; children, Nathaniel Wayne
(Kristi) Loman and Nichole (Mike) Arko; sister, Sue (Allen) Feltner;
brother, John (Barbie) Loman; grandchildren, Lucca Wayne Loman, RaeLee
Loman, Johnathan Loman, Sophia Loman, Natalie Arko and Samantha Arko; as
well as numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life is planned at 2 pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at
Mount Cross Lutheran Church, Payson, Ariz. All are invited to attend.
