Antanas (Tony) Simonis

Antanas "Tony" Simonis passed away on May 22, 2022 in Lake Havasu City.
Tony was born to Vladas and Antanina Simonis on Dec. 19, 1940 in
Lithuania. He attended Santa Monica College and graduated with an AA
degree in Real Estate. He began working with Southern California Edison
in the early 1960's and spent his career with them and retired after 35
years of service as a Service Planner.

Tony married the love of his life, Izolina, at St. Casimir's Catholic
Church in Los Angeles on Feb. 23, 1963. They shared 59 amazing years
together and raised two fantastic daughters, Kristina and Katrina. They
lived in many locations in Southern California in the early years and
they moved to Lake Havasu in 2003.

He loved boating, water-skiing, fishing, and golfing. He enjoyed
tinkering, taking things apart, putting them back together and making
them work. He did stunt work in the TV show "Hunter", in which he
climbed a pole for Patrick Swayze's as his stunt double. His Amazon
parrot "Cosmo" also appeared in an episode of "Divorce Court".

Tony is preceded in death by his parents; Vladas and Antanina Simonis,
his daughter; Kristina Ona Weimer, and his two beloved Dobermans; Cinder
and Cinnamon.

He is survived by his wife; Izolina Simonis, of Lake Havasu City,
daughter; Katrina Rosenloecher of Pacific Palisades, California,
brother; Jonas Simonis of Seattle, and sister; Marija Zivile Crabtree of
Oakview, California, and is survived by his three beloved grandchildren,
Kim, Greg & David from Lake Havasu City and Kingman.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
