WYNN, Harold Thomas

Published by Yuma Sun on May 27, 2022 - Yuma, Arizona >> August 20, 1934 to May 18, 2022 << On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, Harold Thomas Tom Wynn passed away peacefully at the age of 87 in Glendale, AZ. Born in Thermopolis, WY, Tom worked as an elementary school teacher in Powell, WY and Billings, MT. He was a school principal and then Assistant Superintendent in Billings. In 1987 Tom and his wife Barbara moved to Yuma, AZ. He worked as Assistant Superintendent at the Crane Elementary School District for more than twenty years. Tom owned and managed two Blimpie restaurants, and volunteered at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold H. Wynn and Lucy Hatch Wynn, his siblings Shirley, Ken, and Bob, and his wife, Barbara Ann Johnson Wynn. Tom is remembered as a loving husband, an exceptional father and grandfather, and a kind and generous friend. He is survived by his sons Todd (Lisa), Christopher, and Paul (Becky) and his five grandchildren and their families. His memorial service will be at Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, AZ. Service on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 11:30 AM, followed by a private family interment.
