| Published by Mohave Daily News Online from May 29 to May 30, 2022 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Arthur A. Dietz, age 91, a 29-year resident of Bullhead City, Arizona passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2021. He was born on July 20, 1929 in Los Angeles, California. Art moved to Bullhead City in 1993 with his wife Shirley who he was married to for 53 years before she passed away in 2005. They moved to Bullhead City after retiring from his Lithograph business he built in the 60"s. Shortly after moving to Bullhead both he and Shirley joined the Bullhead City Auxiliary as volunteers. While working on river police boats, traffic control and other jobs including transporting prisoners, Art earned a paid position with the police department until he retired again in 2018. Art was known to his family and friends as young at heart with a trusting soul and crazy sense of humor. He was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. He enjoyed his weekly meals with friends, watching movies, flying model airplanes, fishing, playing cards and the occasional casino run. He was a member of the Christian Growth Fellowship and loved his fellow parishioners. Art is survived by his four sons, Kim, Roc, Lee, and Ric; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Art's big heart was felt wherever he went. He will be missed but never forgotten. A celebration of his life will be held on June 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapparal Country Club, 1260 Mohave Drive, Bullhead City, Arizona. |
