Boveena was a member of the Quechan Indian Tribe and attended San Pasqual throughout her school years and later worked at The Quechan Casino Resort as a Pool Attendant. Boveena enjoyed spending time with family and friends during her off time. Boveena is survived by her significant other Rita R. Aguirre (Yuma); her mother, Sophia Nerva (Yuma); brothers, Toby (LA) Joseph Jr., (Phoenix) Valdez M.(Somorton), Gabriel (Yuma), Vitor (Yuma), Jahrius (Canada), Afion, (Canada), Elias (Phoenix); sisters, Dysha( Winterhaven), Jordan (Winterhaven), Ravine (Yuma), Tricelle (Yuma) and many aunts uncles and cousins. Boveena is proceeded in death by her father, Joseph Roosevelt Sr; paternal grandfather, Nathan Nerva Sr; paternal grandfather, Randall Menta and uncle, Emille Roosevelt Pallbearers: Joseph Roosevelt Jr, Jason Nerva Jr, William Laurenzana, Julian Lomavitu, Micheal Nerva, Jovan Hicks, Richard Silva Sr., Manual Galindo, Benjamin Roosevelt, Louis Roosevelt, Joseph Roosevelt, Arik Roosevelt, Aaron Quiros, Gabriel Roosevelt, Steven Laurenzana. Honorary Pallbearers: Wallace Dugan Jr., Lelord Roosevelt, Jahrius and Afion Roosevelt, Emilio Escalanti, Gary Yazzie, Elias Nerva, Rocky Nerva, Nathan Nerva, Anthony Roosevelt,Angel Lomavitu, Kirk Nerva, Elias Marquez, Varian Kelly, Linsey Kelly, Charles Escalanti Viewing will be held at Yuma Mortuary on June 7th 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at with traditional services to follow at the Quechan Big House beginning at 12:00 am.
