| Published by Today's News Herald on Jun. 8, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Evelyn Jean Benson passed away on May 31, 2022. She was born on Jan. 7, 1931 to Howard Quakenboss and Ann Maring. She was born in Michigan but moved to California, before finally settling in Arizona. She was a member of the Eagles, the Elks and Moose Lodge. She loved God and was proud to be a Christian. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ann, and her husband, Martin Benson. She is survived by her sons, Howard L. Brink and Ernest B. Brink Jr., daughters, Joy DeVore, Kristy Kindberg, and Lynn Hamlin; and brother, Larry Quackenboss, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on June 10 at 4 p.m. at 691 Pueblo Drive, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
