| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Wednesday, December 22, 2004, p. B8 Ernest "Ernie" Apostle, Lt. Col. (Ret), 76, Phoenix passed away December 19, 2004. Mr. Apostle entered the U.S. Army in 1946 as a private working his way through the ranks being accepted to O.C.S. graduating and retiring as Lt. Col. After retiring he went to work at CIT as a salesman retiring in 1993 as Senior Vice President. Mr. Apostle loved outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and sand buggying. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Rosetta, daughter; Connie (Bob) Spears, son; E. Lynn (Jeannine) Apostle, grandchildren; Phillip Lynn Woods, Patricia Crawford, Mark Apostle and Stacey Haydel, and great grandchildren; Samantha, Austin, Colby, Nathan, Alexander, Travis, and Corrie. Visitation, Wednesday, December 22, 2004, 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., A. L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral service, Thursday, December 23, 2004, 1:00 P.M., also being held at the Bethany Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1520 East Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014. |
