Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Friday, June 18, 1943, p. 9 Ex-Tempean's Rites Are Scheduled Today Funeral services for James Jacobson (sic: Jacobsen), 32 years old, who died in El Centro, Calif., Tuesday, will be held today at El Centro, it was announced here yesterday. The body will be taken to Tempe tomorrow to lie in state at the Carr Mortuary from 10 to 12 a.m. Graveside services will be held the same day at the Double Butte Cemetery. Mr. Jacobson, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Painter of Tempe, and native of the state, has for the past several years been ranching in El Centro. Surviving Mr. Jacobson are his wife, Faye; son, Leigh; twin baby daughters, Judith and Carol Faye; his mother, Mrs. Clyde Burton of Tucson; and sister, Mrs. Christine Blankenship (sic: Blankinship), of Tucson.
