| Prescott Courier (Prescott, Arizona) Monday, January 14, 1974 Hazel L. Garner rites private Mrs. Hazel L. Garner, 75, succumbed Saturday at Yavapai Community Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born at Prescott Oct. 7, 1898 and resided in Arizona all of her life. Mrs. Garner, a housewife, lived at 1236 Iron Springs Road. She is survived by: her husband, Leonard of Prescott; a son, William Youngblood of Whittier, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. A. H. Walser of Williams; three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Scarlett, Mrs. Bertha Hunt and Mrs. Agnes Truman, all of Prescott; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at Memory Chapel with the Rev. Merle Heatwole officiating. Private cremation will take place at Mountain View Crematory. The family suggests donations to the Arizona Heart Fund in lieu of flowers. |
