Edward (Victor) Huffman
4/23/1955 - 4/15/2022

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Edward Earl Huffman aka "Victor." He died peacefully at 6:42 p.m. on Friday April 15 at Abrazo West Hospital. Ed fought the valiant battle but succumbed to infection. Ed was born April 23, 1955 in Decatur, Illinois. He relocated to Phoenix at the age of 10 and then alternated living in Arizona and Illinois all his working life. For the past 16 years, Ed was a very contented resident of Wickenburg, Arizona.

He is survived by his son Todd Huffman of Indiana and daughter Tiffany Huffman of Pennsylvania. Ed is also survived by brothers Duane Huffman, Peoria, Arizona, Bruce Huffman, Superior, Arizona, and sister Ava Quinn Phoenix, Arizona.

Ed was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who worked hard to provide for his family up to the time he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in his 40s. He was happiest singing, playing his guitar and recording in the studio. All his life Ed had no use for drama. He could be a practical joker who enjoyed the simple things in life and always avoided conflict. Our family is overwhelmed with the outpouring of sympathy and support. We owe a debt of gratitude we can never repay for the extraordinary kindness and amazing generosity from all the residents of Wickenburg.

Pope Francis once said, "People and relationships are more valuable than material things and the truly wealthy are those who are rich in friends." Edward was a kind and gentle soul. May he rest in peace. "Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend." -- Albert Camus
