| Published by Today's News Herald on Jul. 10, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - James Albert McInturff Jr. passed away at the age of 84, suddenly, following a short illness. Jim proudly served in the California National Guard Reserve in the mid-1960s. He lived and work in Lancaster, California for many years where he owned and operated Jim McInturff's Automotive. Upon retirement, Jim and wife Betty moved to Lake Havasu City, where he enjoyed time on the lake fishing, adventures in the desert on his quad, and working on his '40 Ford Sedan and '57 Ford Courier (his old shop truck). He was a member of Elks Lodge and the Over the Hill Gang car club. Jim was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandpa. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty, daughters and sons-in- law, Cathy and Jeff Duke, Christy and Scott Smith, and Cheri and Jon Kaplan. He had six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. A celebration of life is planned for the fall.
