Donald Robert Potter, age 88, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, in
his home in Fort Mohave, Ariz. He was born on July 28, 1933, in Calgary,
Alberta, Canada to Harold and Florence Potter.

Donald married Marjorie May Scott in 1953 in Victoria, BC. In 1955, Don
and Marge moved to California, and Don served in the United States Army
soon after. They raised their family in Tustin, Calif. Although he only
finished 11th grade, Don had a successful career in computers which took
him all over the world including Alaska, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. He
loved taking his family to exotic destinations throughout the world from
Egypt to Singapore to Thailand to Hong Kong to England and Wales. Don
and Marge retired to Bullhead City, Ariz. in 1986 where they enjoyed
welcoming their family and friends for visits on the Colorado River, and
then moved to Fort Mohave, Ariz. in 2007.

Don loved computers, bowling, fishing, and baseball (including coaching
his sons in little league). To his friends and family he was
affectionately known as "Grumpy". For years, he and his wife spent the
summers in Flagstaff with their close friends. He loved reading, and as
his eyesight declined, he spent his days listening to audiobooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Shirley, Tom, Mary,
Fred, Emily, Bill and Walter; and his grandson, Jeremy Ryan Potter.
Don is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marjorie May (Scott) Potter;
his sons, David Robert (Michelle) Potter of Bothell, Wash. and Steven
Harold (Anissa) Potter of Pratt, Kan.; eight grandchildren; seven great-
grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
