Raymond “Ray” Allen Jr. went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2022.

A romantic by nature, he married his wife, Mary, on Valentine’s Day of
2003, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They spent 19 years in wedded bliss.
Ray was an amazing person who loved helping everyone. He loved meeting
new people and making new friends. He was a member of Havasu Classics
Car Club and enjoyed not only the hot rods, but all of the people he met
along the way. He said that it wasn’t about winning trophies; it was
about making new friends. He frequently “inherited” new family members
through his many friendships.

He enjoyed the time he spent boating and just being in the channel. He
loved to travel.

Ray was very outgoing and very family-oriented. He loved spending time
with his children and his grandchildren. He adored having cookouts and
reminiscing about “the good times”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ace and Char, and his cousin,
Tom Allen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, his son, Brian, daughters,
Stephanie Mendes and Tiffany Scalero, brothers, Bill Allen and Fred
DePontee, and sister, Trish Fischer.

He will be missed by all that knew him. When speaking of Ray, his wife,
Mary said “He is the best thing that ever happened to me.”

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
