Helen B. Roberts Born in Orange, Texas on Oct. 29, 1923. Departed on March 23, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Helen B. Roberts, 78, of Cottonwood died March 23. She was born October 29, 1923 in Orange, Texas. Mrs. Roberts was a graduate of Eastern New Mexico College and also graduated from the Spencer Business College in New Orleans. She worked for the post office in Sedona and served a postmistress during the early 1960's. She leaves her husband Devere Knox Roberts, Jr. of Cottonwood; sisters, Hazel Waggoner and Sharla Goodyear; a brother, Clarence Kurviest Murphy, all of Orange, Texas. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Oliver Bernard Murphy and David Lee Peasley. Private family services were held. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
