Funeral Services Are Held Here For Mrs. F. A. Dibble

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred A. Dibble were conducted at 2 p.m.
yesterday from the chapel of A. L. Moore and Sons. Interment was in
Greenwood cemetery. Rev. James A. Stavely conducted the service at the
chapel, and members of the Order of the Eastern Star, of which Mrs.
Dibble was a prominent member, officiated at the cemetery.

Members of the Phoenix Real Estate Board, of which Mr. Dibble is a
member, and of the Eastern Star attended the funeral in a body. The
funeral was largely attended by the many friends of the deceased.

Pearl M. Manley was born in Plattesville, Ill., in 1884. She received
her early education there, and was later graduated from the University
of Chicago. She later obtained a degree from De Kalb University and
began her career as an instructor of domestic science and art at the age
of 20 years, and continued her profession until her marriage. She taught
domestic science in the Phoenix High School for two and one-half years
previous to her marriage.

The marriage ceremony was performed at Prescott on June 29, 1918. One
son, Manley Otis Dibble, was born on November 4, 1920, who, with the
husband, and a father, mother, sister and brother survive the deceased.
She was a member of the Methodist church.

Mrs. Dibble died at St. Joseph's hospital on Monday, following an
operation and a short illness. Her father, Mr. Manley of Oswego, Ill.,
arrived Thursday night to attend the funeral.
