| Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 7, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Lynn Anne Veary departed this life on wings of Angels on July 22, 2022. Lynn was a youthful 76 and loved by all who knew her. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Jim, three children Michael Veary (of Portland, OR), Lorrissa Robertson (of Vail, CO), Resa Veary Jones (of Falmouth, ME), two brothers Roy Johnson (of Chaumont, NY), Keith Johnson (of Oxford, CT) and seven beloved grandchildren, plus an endless list of those whose lives were enriched just by knowing her. Lynn was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and upon retirement spent her years between the family cottage in the Thousand Islands of New York and her adopted home of Lake Havasu City, Az. She proclaimed both locations to be a piece of Paradise, and lived joyfully amid the western stony desert and eastern river foliage. No public services are planned but a celebration of life will be held on July 22, 2023 in Clayton, NY beside her glorious Saint Lawrence River. Lynn requests that anyone wishing to make a donation in her name use the funds instead to do something special for themselves. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
