Services scheduled for Mrs. Willey

PRESCOTT--Services for Mrs. Ethyl Willey, 68, who died Friday in Yavapai
Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today in Ruffner Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Willey was born in Williams and resided in Prescott the past 63
years. A retired teacher, she had taught in Yavapai County schools in
Granite Mountain, Drake, Irving, Peoples Valley, Hillside and New River.
A graduate of Tempe Normal School (now Arizona State University) she
assumed the bookkeeping duties at the L Bar L Ranch in Williamson Valley
upon the death of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Stringfield, who
had acquired the ranch during the 1890s.

A member of the Cowbelles, Mrs. Willey also was a former employe of
Western Union in Phoenix.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest, and four sisters, Mrs. Bernice
Scarlett and Mrs. Hazel Garner, both of Prescott, Mrs. Agnes Truman of
Phoenix and Mrs. Bertha Hunt of Walnut Creek.

The family has requested memorial donations to the Heart Fund.
