Oliva << Surrounded by her loving family, Dottie Oliva went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2022 after a courageous fight against a brief illness. She was born the daughter of John S. and Mary L. (Popovich) Kosmo on October 26, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio. Her formal occupation was a homemaker but she was also known as the Greatest Wife and Mom. Dottie will be deeply missed and always loved, and always remembered by her Husband, Philip R. Oliva, whom she married June 6, 1964 at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Youngstown, her children, Melissa (Roger) Brown of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Christopher (Ellen) Oliva of Plainview, New York, Eric (Christine) Oliva of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; her Grandchildren, Samantha Oliva of Geneseo, New York, Nicklaus Oliva of Plainview, New York, Gabrielle Oliva of Plainview, New York, brother Robert Kosmo, sisters; Rita Billec, Shelley (Edward) Conti, brothers and sisters in law; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Oliva, Mr. and Mrs. John Oliva, Roger Oliva, Mary Ann Mills, and numerous family members including cousins, nephews, nieces, and lifelong friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Karen Oliva, and brother-in-law Edward Billec. The Family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Haven Heath, Havasu Regional Medical Center Wound Care, and River Valley Medical for their compassion. The Oliva Family has entrusted Dottie's care to the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. |
