| Published by today's News Herald on Aug. 16, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Wayne Francis Adamson, 81, passed away on August 9, 2022 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Nancy and the children Kelly, Kim & Chris and grandchildren Tyler, Thomas & Kyra as well as his sister Mary and brother Harry. Wayne was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on December 8, 1940. When he was not racing cars in high school, he met his wife of almost 62 years, Nancy Toniolo. Wayne & his family moved to Lake Havasu in 1971. He loved boating on the lake and exploring the mountains and desert in the dune buggy. Wayne was in construction for a bit, but a household mover most of his career logging over 2 million miles. In 2013, Wayne and Nancy moved to a retirement community near Florence where they enjoyed meeting new friends and so many activities. Any golf course or Trivia event, Wayne would try to get there. Wayne will always be in our hearts as a truly wonderful and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved life and embraced every day as a gift. We will miss him dearly. Wayne will be honored at a funeral service on September 16, 2022 at 10 am at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Florence, AZ.
