James M. Reeves died peacefully at home on 7/25/2022 in Lake Havasu
City, Az at the age of 99 years.

James is survived by children Stephen Reeves, Sherri Stapleton, James S.
Reeves, Kathi Deden, Candace Hull and Cynthia Jones;. James is preceded
in death by his wife Florence and daughter Cynthia, Grandson Jeremy,
brother Albert "Bud" Reeves and half sister Elaine Mary Murphy. James
has 12 grandchildren Jeremy, Joey and Jimmy Jones. Jason and Kirk
Reeves. Casey Todd. Brigette Hartnagle. Nathan Deden. Connie Hineman,
Kristen Ferguson, Jaime Dyck, Stacy Camberg. He also had 22 great
grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

James Reeves was born on May 13 1923 in Sioux City Iowa to James Albert
Reeves and Elaine (Mary) Josephine Murphy. He married Florence G.
Pangborn on 21 Oct 1946. Florence passed away on Dec 9 1971.

James M. Reeves was a WW2 veteran In the U.S. Army as a Sergeant and
served from Feb. 1943 to Jan. 1946. He served in the 748th Tank Bn. 3rd
Army under General George S. Patton. He was awarded 3 Overseas Service
Bars, America Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern
Theater Ribbon Bar with 4 Bronze Battle Stars, Good Conduct Medal, WW2
Victory Medal.

The successes of General Patton can be attributed to men like James
Reeves. He was a great man and was loved by all. He will be deeply
missed. James will be buried with Florence, to be together again
forever.

A funeral is scheduled for 11AM at All Souls Cemetery 4400 Cherry Ave
Long Beach, CA 90807{location}, with a reception TBA.
