| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Sunday, June 5, 1921, p. 6 PIONEER RESIDENT DEAD-- Oliver Geer, pioneer resident of Arizona and Democratic floor leader of the twenty-first territorial legislature, died in California recently, according to word received by Governor Thomas E. Campbell yesterday from Mrs. Sarah J. Weir, a sister of the deceased. Mr. Geer at one time made his home in Congress Junction and was well known throughout the state. His death occurred at La Verne, where the family has made its home the past few years. |
