| Bradbury Memorial Center - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Charles Leroy Davis was born on August 24th, 1945 in Longview Washington, and passed away peacefully in his home July 25th, 2022. Chuck proudly served in the Navy from 1964-1968. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal and National Defense Medal. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Linda, his two daughters Jennifer and Melissa Davis, two step sons Michael McGovern and his wife Janet, Patrick McGovern, and step daughter Kathy Sherman and her husband Mark, two half brothers Herbert and Jeff Wirkala, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was proud of the family he and Linda made from there two families. Chuck is preceeded by his parents William and Kathrine Davis, and brother William Davis. He started Acme Painting in the 90's, and after retiring loved traveling with his beloved wife and dog Cody, transporting travel trailers. He was the president of the Havasu Gold Seekers club for a short while. He fancied himself a prospector, always hoping to strike it rich with a big nugget of gold! Chuck's memorial service will be Saturday July 30th 11:00am, at the Oak Street Baptist Church in Kingman, AZ. |
