He attended Arizona Western College, Yuma, AZ and Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil). Kevin met Shelley Sparks and they were married in 2008 in San Diego, CA. They have 2 children, Charles and Chloe Burge. Kevin has been involved with different organizations within the community including Rotary Club, Children's Museum of Yuma County, Boy Scouts of America, Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church as well as other organizations. Kevin loved spending time with family and friends and loved his pets. He was Mr. Fix-It for his family and his Dad Jokes were entertaining to his family and friends. Kevin is survived by his wife, Shelley, son, Charles and daughter, Chloe, his parents, Leon and Carol Burge, his sister, Dawn and brother- in-law James Santeford and niece, Emma, Mesa, AZ, and Grandmother Marybelle Burge, Miller, NE. Kevin was at home with his family at the time of his passing on August 27, 2022. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Children's Museum of Yuma County is suggested.
