Frank J. Tokas, age 68, a long-time resident of Laughlin, Nevada, passed
away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, after an extended illness. He passed
peacefully at home with family by his side.
Frank was born and raised in Wellsburg, West Virginia. He attended West
Virginia University and earned his MBA. He moved to Bullhead City,
Arizona in 1978 and began his career in casino finance. He started at
Del Webb's South Point Nevada Club - now the Golden Nugget. He worked
briefly at the Ramada Express - now the Tropicana. Finally Frank moved
to Laughlin, Nevada, and worked at the Riverside Resort and Casino for
31 years until his retirement at the end of 2021.
Frank loved watching sports, going to movies, good food and traveling.
He genuinely loved his family and many friends and spending time with
them - especially his three grandchildren.
Frank is survived by his wife, Debbie of Laughlin, Nevada; step-son,
Jeff Hayes and grandchildren, Cody, Austin and Trinity Hayes, all
formerly of Bullhead City, Arizona currently residing in Phoenix,
Arizona; step-son, James Hayes of Tucson, Arizona. Also surviving Frank
are his two sisters, Shirley Rebich of Toronto, Ohio and Barbara Klug of
Proctor, West Virginia; nephews, Mike Klug of Columbus, Ohio and Dave
Klug of Moon Township, Pennsylvania; and niece, Lori Klug of Wheeling,
West Virginia.
A celebration of Frank's life is being planned.
