| Published by Today's News Herald from Sep. 25 to Sep. 26, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Charlotte Means got her wings and went to heaven with the angles on Sept. 17, 2022 at 4:03pm. She was 83 years young. Charlotte is proceeded by her husband James "Himey" Means, her son Jimmy Means Jr., her folks, and a lot of other family members. She is survived by her two sister Marilyn and Harriet, daughter Cindy, son Phillip, daughter in-law Dori, and their spouses. Charlotte also shaped the beautiful lives of nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was always hands on in creating this beautiful family. Charlotte was a teacher at Parker Dam School for many years. She loved her job and the students that she inspired. Charlotte moved to Echo Lodge in 1967 with her husband and children. Then on to MWD in 1973 and then her and Himey retired to Big River CA. They loved the river and would not live anywhere else. On Saturday Oct. 1, the family will be hosting a celebration of life for Charlotte at her daughter house from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Please RSVP (call or text) 928-713-7230. Charlotte will be laid to rest on Sunday Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. with a graveside service only at the Parker Cemetery in Parker. Please in lieu of flowers donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
