| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, August 24, 2022, p. A-4 Linda Bixler Hopkins Sept. 8, 1946 - Aug. 22, 2022 Linda was raised in Hegins, Penn., by her grandparents, Calvin L. Bixler and Blanche I. Bixler. She graduated from Tri-Valley High School in Hegins, Penn. After graduation she graduated from Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa. Linda met and married Jon in Cincinnati, Ohio June, 1972. She had a successful career in supply chain management after completing a two-year training on General Electric's Manufacturing Management Program in 1978. Linda had jobs in many manufacturing plants in the following locations: Cincinnati, Florida, Schenectady, Phoenix and Connecticut. Linda liked to play Bridge and Texas Hold "Up" (She usually won). She retired in 2005 and resided in Wickenburg until her death. Linda is preceded in death by grandparents Calvin L. Bixler, Blanche I. Bixler, uncles Earl Bixler, aunt Alice B. Erdman and mother Alice B. Klinger, half-sister Ruth Murray and half brother Paul Klinger. She left behind Uncle Leon Bixler, cousins Dianne Strite and Jim Erdman, eight cousins (children of Leon and Calvin) half sisters Nancy Carl, Marie Mortensen, Trudy Molnar, Susan Kramer, Patricia Williams and half- brother Tim Klinger. |
