| Published by Today's News Herald on Oct. 2, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Our beloved wife, sister, mother, and Oma, Karen Marie (Townsend) Webber joined her Savior on Sept. 27, 2022, at age 74. She was a wonderful wife and mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Chino, California, where she was passionate about her work with The Dignity Group, and leading Women's Group Bible Studies for Calvary Chapel Chino Valley. She and her husband, Bill, retired to Lake Havasu City in February 2015, where she enjoyed fishing on the Lake, and where she found her new passion: writing children's stories. Karen's parents, Robert and Betty Townsend, and her sister, Kathy Williams, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Bill Webber, her siblings Robi (Michael) Macbean and Art Townsend, her children Sandy (Russell) Carlson and Michael (Carla) Webber, and her four grandchildren: Rebekah (Sandy) Carlson; Charis, Micah, and Stephen (Michael) Webber. The family invites you to join them in celebrating Karen's life at an informal visitation at Bradbury Memorial on Sunday, Oct. 9 from 2-3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if you'd like to continue Karen's legacy, please consider donating to The Dignity Group. It was Karen's passion to help families with special needs members and The Dignity Group was her favorite organization. Donations can be made at dignitygroup.org |
