| Published by Today's News Herald on Oct. 16, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Janet Laura Johnson, 73, of Lake Havasu City, died peacefully at her home following a brief illness. Family was the most important aspect of Janet's life. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild and siblings brought her greatest days and sources of joy. Janet received her cosmetology license and was a talented nail technician. Conversations and laughter with her clients were truly her greatest skills. Janet loved arts and crafts – coloring, cross stitching and painting gave her solitude and created beauty. Janet was born in Detroit and moved to California where she raised her family. In 2020, she and her husband Ron moved to Lake Havasu City to enjoy retirement. Janet is survived by her husband, Ron Johnson, children Lisa (Keith) James, Stephen (Stacy) Sjogren, Phillip (Jenn) Johnson; Grandchildren, Zoey, Haily, Madison, Brody, Mason and Travis; Great-Grandson, Jordy. And of course, her little Gracy, her terrier mix who ran the household. Janet is also survived by her sisters Caroline (David) Knowles, Laura (Jeff) Varon Brown; Brothers Chuck Otto and Joel (Debbie) Otto; Stepmom, Carol Otto.
