RUZEK, Charles Eugene

Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Oct. 16 to Oct. 19, 2022 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Charles Eugene Ruzek, age 98, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on July 18, 1924 on a farm near Denmark, Wisconsin to Charles and Libbie (Jirikovec) Ruzek. He was united in marriage on August 31, 1943 to Charlotte Grall. Together, with two small children, moved from Wisconsin to California in 1951. Chuck lived and worked in the Long Beach/Lakewood area for over 50 years. In 1999, Chuck's beloved wife, Charlotte of 56 years, passed away. In 2004, he moved to Fort Mohave, Arizona. Chuck enjoyed many family gatherings, pastrami sandwiches at The Hut, and visits to the Laughlin casinos. Chuck is survived by his three daughters, Barbara Ruzek of Riverside, California, Charlene Tormey of Appleton, Wisconsin, Laurie (Jeff) Minor of Bullhead City, Arizona; his two sons, Chuck Ruzek of Lakewood, California and Don (Lori) Ruzek of Fort Mohave, Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Forest Lawn Chapel, 1500 E. San Antonio, Long Beach, California.. The Celebration will continue at 3:30pm at Tracy's Bar & Grill, 5511 E. Spring St., Long Beach, California.
