| Published by Today's News Herald on Oct. 23, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Mary Lois Allen, or "Sugar", as she was lovingly called by friends, was reunited with the love of her life on Sept. 26, 2022 at the age of 61 in Lake Havasu City. Mary was born in Wellington, Kansas on Jan. 8, 1961 to Ray Eugene and Marilyn Ann Ward. Mary had two sons, two daughters and five grandchildren; whom she loved very much. She married her soulmate, Ray Allen, on Valentine's Day of 2003, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She was a member of the Havasu Classics Car Club alongside Ray; absolutely loved Elvis Presley; enjoyed outdoor activities, dancing, crocheting and just enjoying life. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Ray, her parents Ray and Marilyn Ward, and her sister, Patty Downey. She is survived by sons; Justin Bolek (Brittney) and James Bain, daughters; Taquilla Benjamin (Howard) and Malissa Perkins (Ramsey), grandchildren; Chance Powers, Eathan Schlueter, Carmen Benjamin, Killian "Scott" Bolek and Andrew Bolek, sisters; Lavonne Ward, Raenita Ward and Starlett Watson, nieces, nephews and other family members.
