| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Saturday, April 6, 1946, p. *1 Phoenix Woman Taken By Death Margaret Gray Walker, 65 years old and a resident of Phoenix since 1910, died yesterday morning in her home at 1406 West Washington street. Mrs. Parker, who was born in Union City, Tenn., December 24, 1880, came to Phoenix from Grandfield, Okla. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, L. J. Parker, whom she married in 1901; four daughters, Mrs. Velda Waldeck, Riverside, Calif.; Mrs. Alma McLemore, Honolulu, T. H.; Mrs. Mildred Mayer, San Bernardino, Calif.; and Mrs. Fern Curtis, Phoenix; two sons, Darrell R. and Walter J., both of Phoenix; a brother, C. H. DeRoulhac, Phoenix; one other brother and five sisters who live out of the state, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Arizona Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George F. Barton officiating. Burial will be in Double Butte Cemetery. |
