| Athens Banner-Herald (Athens, Georgia) Friday, August 6, 2010 www.obitmessenger.com Dolores Adams, born in Wickenburg, AZ, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Lister Dozier. She was also preceded in death by her son Mark Adams. Dee received her nursing degree from St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Phoenix, AZ and had worked in hospitals and doctors offices in both Wickenburg and Kingman, AZ. She was a member of New Franklin Christian Church where she was a choir, had previously attended Erastus Christian Church and was a member of the Elberton Senior Center. Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Adams, son, Bruce (Mary) Adams of Boulder City, NV, daughter, Shelley Christenson of Elberton, GA, grandchildren, Jennifer, Justine, Lora and Beth and one great grandson, Tanner. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 8, 2010 at New Franklin Christian Church with Rev. Carl Beckham officiating. Burial will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Franklin Christian Church. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 6 until 8 at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel. |
