Joan Marie Mitchell-Vierthaler, age 81, a 52-year resident of Bullhead 
City, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. She was born 
June 25, 1941 in Marina Del Rey, California.

Joan was a teacher in the Bullhead City School District for 49 years. 
She loved reading, shopping, traveling, and giving to others.

She is survived by her son, David Veirthaler of San Francisco, CA; 
brother, John Mitchell of Orange, CA; grandchildren, Samantha Vierthaler 
and Christopher Vierthaler both of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 
Desert Lawn Funeral Home in Mohave Valley, AZ.
