Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Nov. 28 to Dec. 4, 2022 - Bullhead City, Arizona - It is with profound sadness that my brother and I must announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Joyce Alice Barrick, on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Our greatest joy was that she experienced 96 healthy and active years of being the most patient, tolerant and compassionate person her friends and family will ever know. Mother and Glen came to Bullhead City 40 years ago and began building their dream retirement home. They drove from So. California every weekend for almost five years and finally were able to realize that dream. They loved the desert landscape and helped us come to appreciate its beauty as well. It is our hope that she has been reunited with her husband, Glen; her oldest son, Darryl; her parents, Charles and Lois Cleaver; as well as many other family members and friends. Mother is also survived by her grandson, Aaron, whom lived with her and helped care for her for many years; and many others whom she loved very much.
