| Published by Today's News Herald on Dec. 11, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - "Well, sh** everyone, thanks for the great memories." Paul Hanson Parmley was born July 28, 1939, in Salt Lake City, and passed peacefully in his home in Lake Havasu City, on Dec. 3, 2022, at age 83. Raised in Hiawatha, Utah, Paul was drafted into the United States Army in 1962. He lived most of his adult life in southern California, where he married and raised two wonderful kids. He and his beautiful wife, Joyce, retired to Lake Havasu City in 2007. He loved boating on Lake Havasu and the Parker Strip and spent most of his vacation time running up and down the lake in his Caliber 1 Boat called "See N Red." He taught many people who will read this obit how to water ski, drive and dock a boat, and how to be a good human being. He loved his family, his dogs, river music like Bob Seger and Creedence Clearwater, and "CC and 7 talls," but not necessarily in that order. Although he was part of the stoic generation, he had twinkly blue eyes and greeted everyone he knew and loved with a big smile and a hearty, "Well sh** friend, how the heck are ya?" Paul leaves behind his beautiful wife, Joyce of almost 48 years; his son Josef (42); daughter Somer (45); and son-in-law, Phil; and grandkids, Stella, (11) and Zane, (8). Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family at www.lietz- frazefuneralhome.com. |
