| Published by Today's News Herald on Jan. 3, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Earlene McCaw, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022. Earlene leaves behind a loving family and many friends. She is survived by her four sons - Kory McCaw and his partner Carol Lehman from Sierra Vista; Chet & Brenda McCaw, Marengo, Iowa; Vince and Jennifer McCaw, Poway, California and Ryan and Pat McCaw Eldridge, Iowa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Lindsey Anderson, Tucson; Amber (Joel) Baetsle, Victor, Iowa; Blake (Jade) McCaw , Marengo, Iowa , Andrew McCaw, Carly McCaw, Poway, California, Lily McCaw, Syndey McCaw, Eldridge, Iowa and seven great-grandchildren. Earlene also is survived by her sister Judy (Dave) Roberts, Green Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Marcella Schafbuch and her life partner, Dick Mouchka. Earlene's ashes will be combined with her partner's ashes at the Marengo Cemetery where they shall remain "Together Forever". There will be a private family celebration of life later this year.
