| Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 1 to Jan. 4, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - William Addison Hardt, age 79, beloved husband to Nancy Hardt and mother of Eric William and David Christopher, was called to his eternal resting place on December 5, 2022. Bill entered this world on February 20, 1943 in Appleton, Wisconsin, born to Dan and Alice Hardt. Bill graduated with the class of 1961 at Appleton (West) High School, then a graduate of Oberlin College in 1965. Nancy and Bill were married in 1965 at First English Lutheran Church, Appleton. Bill served in the National Guard as a First Lieutenant before entering the world of insurance sales leading teams and furthering his career to upper management for several insurance companies over the years. One of his greatest accomplishments was the creation of a Universal Life program for the Home Life Insurance Agency of New York. He and Nancy owned and ran the Sylvan Learning Center in Bullhead City, Arizona and were both very involved in the local community. After Nancy's passing, Bill stayed very active in the Arizona political scene. Most recently, Bill ran for the position of Arizona State Representative earlier this year and remained very active in the AZ GOP. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends throughout the country. He is survived by his two sons, Eric and David Hardt; and sister, Gretchen Oakley. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the American Legion Post 87, 2249 Clearwater Dr. B, Bullhead City, AZ.
