Margaret (Fiala) Neiman

Margaret Neiman, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on Nov. 6, 2022 after
a courageous one-year battle with brain cancer.

She was born on April 14, 1950 to Jim and Helen Fiala in Oak Park,
Illinois.

Margaret graduated from Western Illinois University in 1972 and taught
generations of children in South Berwyn Illinois School District 100 for
34 years, often riding her motorcycle to work.

Margaret's extended family and wide circle of friends included those who
shared her love of adventure and gravitated toward her joyful spirit.
Whether she was hiking, canoeing, jeeping, motorcycling, river rafting,
kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, camping or
backpacking, or just sitting with you, she brought an infectious joy to
those she surrounded herself with. Her friends are numerous and loved
her beyond measure for her kindness, generosity, her sense of humor and
love of laughter.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband Lee Neiman, whom she married
in 1982 in Paw Paw, Michigan. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose
Fiala, of Alaska, and Marian Chesney of Indiana, and nieces Julie and
Jenny, and numerous cousins. She is also survived by friends with whom
she shared her adventures, her laughter and her love. It was a life well
lived.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held in Lake Havasu City on
Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please RSVP to Kris (928-
846-0690) for information on location. Please bring stories with you of
your best memories of Margaret and celebrate her many gifts.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice
in honor of this amazing woman who was loved by so many.
