David Brent Rock passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, after a
three month long battle from a stroke. He was 74 years old. Born in Los
Angeles, California on May 27, 1948 to Brent and Joan Rock. He graduated
from Arroyo High School in El Monte, CA and later attended Pasadena
Community College.

He married his high school sweetheart, Sandie, on March 29, 1969. They
bought their first home and settled in Temple City, CA where they had
two sons and he worked as a sign hanger for Heath & Company for ten
years. In 1978 they decided to move to Bullhead City, AZ and start their
own business, Rock's Crane Service and eventually Rock's Docks. With
Sandie by his side, they ran a successful business for 42 years.
They enjoyed their house on the river and had many, many parties and
celebrations with all their friends and families from weddings to
funerals to Christmas parties and of course the famous River Regatta.
Many memories were made at the Rock Palace as it was known.

Dave was one of the hardest working men alive and a tough boss but
inspired many. He was a very generous man and always loaning money to
the less fortunate. Also, a real dog whisperer with any and every dog
and always having biscuits in his pocket.

Dave is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandie; his sons, Mike (Mindy)
and Mark (Tina); three grandchildren, Alexis, Amanda and Gage.

A private family celebration will be held in his honor.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
