ROSS, James R.

James R. Ross, 74, of Goodyear died May 18, 2009, in Peoria.

Mr. Ross was born Nov. 24, 1934, in Walker, Iowa. He served two years in the Army. He owned L.W. Ross Refrigeration Co. for 36 years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He also owned Papa Juan's Mexican Restaurant in Cedar Rapids. He moved to Arizona in 2004. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Goodyear.

He is survived by his wife, Marlys M.; one daughter, Ann McGuffey of Houston; two sons, David of St. Paul, Minn., and Daniel of Kansas City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were Thursday in Goodyear. The Rev. Bob Simmons officiated.
